Join us for a fascinating Workshop and discover how dowsing can be used alongside genealogy, history and personal reflection to explore ancestral patterns and family stories.

This practical, hands-on Workshop is centred on experience rather than theory. You will create a simple family tree, dowse your own ancestral line, and take part in a fascinating case study that follows the clues from a family tree to historical research, ancestral landscapes and from the writings of Jenny's book: Sin-Eater.

Whether you are new to dowsing or already have experience, this Workshop offers a framework for exploring your ancestry with curiosity, asking meaningful questions, and discovering where the next clue may lead.

Remember to bring with you:

• A pendulum or dowsing tool of your choice.

• The names of your parents, grandparents and great-grandparents (or a family tree if you have one).

• A notebook and pen.

No previous experience of dowsing or genealogy is required.

About Jenny

Jenny grew up on a farm in Somerset, where many of her happiest childhood memories involved riding her pony, Jack, across the Levels and Moors.  Perhaps, it was here that her lifelong fascination with landscape, history and the stories held within the land first began. 

After University, Jenny moved to Australia where she helped establish rural and outback vocational rehabilitation services for the Commonwealth Government.  Returning to England in the late 1990s, Jenny built a varied career in vocational rehabilitation, higher education and European projects.  Later, training extensively in both Shamanic and Somatic approaches with teachers such as Eliana Harvey, Tim Raven, Maria Wheatley, David Lockwood and Daniel Foor.

As well as being a published author of a number of books, Jenny loves walking, art, travel and exploring old landscapes but most of all she enjoys the thrill of following the next clue, wherever it may lead.

In recent years, Jenny's greatest adventure has been following the clues left by her own ancestors.  Combining genealogy, historical research, visits to ancestral places, conversations with psychics and mediums, and of course, dowsing!  She has traced her ancestral lines across Britain and each discovery has uncovered another question, another location and another unexpected thread to follow.

Though largely retired, Jenny enjoys mentoring for Promise Works, supporting disadvantaged children across Somerset and spending time with a healing herd of horses near Glastonbury.

Jenny's proceeds from this event will be gifted towards veterinary care for Jackson, a trusted therapy horse
